Kajabi Review: The All-in-One Platform That Actually Delivers

Kajabi promises to replace your entire tech stack with one platform. After extensive testing, we found it largely delivers on that promise, at a premium price.

The All-in-One Promise

Kajabi positions itself as the only platform you need to run your entire creator business: courses, coaching, community, email marketing, website, and payments all under one roof. That is a bold claim, and remarkably, Kajabi mostly lives up to it. The question is whether the premium price tag is worth the convenience.

Course Building Done Right

The course builder is Kajabi's crown jewel. You can create beautifully structured courses with video lessons, downloads, quizzes, and drip schedules. The student experience is polished and professional. Your students will think you hired a development team. Templates for mini-courses, flagship courses, and coaching programs give you a head start.

Use Kajabi's "Product Blueprint" templates when creating your first course. They encode best practices from thousands of successful course launches and save you from common structural mistakes.

Email & Marketing Pipelines

Kajabi's built-in email marketing is solid but not spectacular. You get automations, sequences, and broadcast emails. The real power is in "Pipelines," pre-built marketing funnels that combine landing pages, email sequences, and checkout flows. For creators who do not want to stitch together five different tools, this is genuinely game-changing.

Community Features

The community feature (Kajabi Communities) adds a private social-network-style space for your members. It is not as feature-rich as Circle or Mighty Networks, but having it integrated directly with your courses and memberships creates a seamless experience that standalone community platforms cannot match.

The Price You Pay

There is no sugarcoating it: Kajabi is expensive. The Basic plan starts at $149/month and only includes 3 products and 3 pipelines. Most serious creators will need the Growth plan at $199/month. However, when you add up what you would spend on separate tools for courses, email, community, and website hosting, Kajabi often comes out ahead.

Where It Struggles

  • The website builder is functional but rigid compared to Squarespace or Webflow
  • Email deliverability has room for improvement
  • No native affiliate marketplace, so you manage affiliates manually
  • Limited checkout customization compared to dedicated commerce tools

Our Verdict

Kajabi is the best choice for creators who want everything in one place and are willing to pay for the convenience. If you are building a course-based business, the integration benefits are hard to replicate with separate tools.
